TITANIUM SERVICES is the only online store that gives you instant access to a wide range of titanium sheets and plates.
Unlike our competitors, you are not required to order a full sheet (minimum 2000x1000mm).
We cut our sheets in-house, allowing us to offer you a more personalized and, above all, very fast service.
The minimum surface area is 1 dm², or 100x100mm (we can sometimes offer offcuts with a smaller surface area than our standard cuts).
Grade 5 / TA6V titanium sheet, 1.5mm thick, is the epitome of engineering excellence. Made from a premium titanium alloy, this sheet offers a unique combination of exceptional lightness, corrosion resistance, and unmatched durability. Whether you work in aerospace, the chemical industry, marine engineering, or other demanding sectors, this titanium sheet is designed to meet your most exacting requirements.
Key features:
1. Grade 5 / TA6V Titanium Alloy: This sheet is made from Grade 5 / TA6V titanium alloy, known for its exceptional corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength.
2. Unmatched Lightness: Thanks to its low density, titanium offers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. This Grade 5 titanium sheet allows you to reduce the overall load on your projects without compromising structural integrity.
3. Versatility of Application: Whether in the aerospace industry, chemical engineering, heat exchangers, the manufacture of precision medical components or marine equipment, our titanium sheet offers consistent and reliable performance, suitable for a variety of demanding applications.
4. Corrosion Resistance: Titanium is naturally corrosion resistant, meaning that this sheet retains its structural integrity even in corrosive environments (grade 2 / T40 titanium remains superior in this area).
Applications:
This 1.5mm thick Grade 5 / TA6V titanium sheet is versatile and has applications in many fields, including:
Aerospace Industry: Structural components, panels, and other applications requiring lightness and strength.
Marine Engineering: Marine components, custom parts and other equipment exposed to salt water.
Automotive Industry: Lightweight and durable components to improve vehicle energy efficiency.
etc…
It is valid for this thickness and grade only, regardless of the surface area ordered ( see bottom of page ) or click on the following link for more information.

DID YOU KNOW?
Titanium is:
- 43% lighter than steel
- High mechanical resistance
- Low coefficient of thermal expansion and heat transfer
- 100% stainless steel!! Much better than stainless steel!
Questions and Answers:
To put it simply, grade 2 is "soft" compared to grade 5.
The mechanical breakage of grade 2 titanium (pure titanium) is slightly less than that of steel.
On the other hand, grade 5 titanium (alloy of titanium + aluminum + vanadium) has a mechanical strength 3 times higher, far above steels and stainless steels… while retaining formidable corrosion resistance.
For competition or if you have high mechanical stresses, you need grade 5 titanium.
More information about titanium can be found on our dedicated page.
None !
Each country and organization has its own standard.
Therefore: Grade 5 = TA6V = Ti-6Al-4V = DIN 3.7164 = TC5
The biggest difference is the surface finish of the titanium bar.
A titanium bar will have a smooth surface, while a titanium rod will have a rough appearance.
Titanium exhaust pipes are generally made in grade 2/T40.
Grade 5 is too "rigid/complicated" to bend due to a low elastic limit.
